This animation is made from 358 images captured by NASA's MESSENGER spacecraft over the course of 24 hours as it was traveling away from #Earth 🌏 on August 2-3, 2005 on its way to Venus and then Mercury.
A view of #Mars made from images captured with the EXI camera aboard the UAE's @HopeMarsMission orbiter on November 22, 2021 from a distance of 20,118 km.
This little jellybean is Polydeuces, a 3x2-km #moon of Saturn🪐 imaged with Cassini's narrow-angle camera on June 16, 2015 #OTD from a distance of 36,814 km. Polydeuces follows the much larger moon Dione in its orbit, wandering around its trailing Lagrangian point.
Check out this weird rock formation on a#Mars spotted by @NASA’s Perseverance rover on June 13. I’d guess it’s about 1/2 to 3/4 meter long or so. Wind, time, and 1/3 G makes some strange shapes!
