Mission astronauts aboard the shuttle Atlantis are currently performing repairs on the orbiting Hubble Telescope, as well as installing new advanced cameras and imaging equipment meant to greatly extend the abilities – and lifespan – of Hubble, launched in 1990. Mission details can be seen here.

This will be the last time Atlantis will visit the telescope before the shuttle fleet is retired in 2010.
